Ty Ewens-Findlay pens new deal and heads to Crawley on loan

'

Ty Ewens-Findlay has signed a new one-year deal with the club and has joined Sky Bet League Two side Crawley Town on loan for the 2026/27 season.

The 19-year-old defender initially arrived in SE7 at the start of last season and played a key role for the U21s in his maiden campaign, helping the young Addicks secure a place in the Professional Development League play-offs.

Lead U21s Coach Chris Lock said: "He is strong, explosive, aerially dominant and aggressive. He also possesses excellent technique. Last season we spent a lot of time developing him, and over the course of the season, he grew from strength to strength. This loan to Crawley gives him the chance to test himself in the EFL against established, seasoned professionals.

"Hopefully, he comes back to Charlton and is able to challenge for a place. He is a talented lad with high potential."

Ewens-Findlay will now link up with Colin Kazim-Richards' side ahead of the new campaign.

Everyone at the club wishes Ty the very best of luck this season.
