Timothy Ouma became the Addicks’ seventh signing of the summer window when he landed in SE7 on loan from Slavia Prague on Monday.
We take a look at the midfielder’s story so far…
Nairobi City All Stars
The 22-year-old’s career began at his hometown club Nairobi City All Stars where he impressed in the Kenyan top flight after making his debut as a 16-year-old.
Ouma made 56 league appearances over two seasons, netting seven goals, before attracting the attention of European clubs.
IF Elfsborg
Ouma made the move to Swedish Allsvenskan outfit IF Elfsborg in the summer of 2022, racking up 42 appearances and scoring three goals.
His 13 performances in the UEFA Europa League alerted a number of clubs to his talents and, after two years in the top flight in Sweden, another move beckoned.
Slavia Prague
In February 2025, the midfielder signed a four-year deal with Czech champions Slavia Prague.
A short while after his arrival in Czechia, he made the switch to Poland.
Lech Poznań
Lech Poznań would be Ouma’s next destination on loan from Slavia Prague. A successful stay in Poland would see the Kenya international rack up 34 appearances, gaining more experience in Europe in the UEFA Conference League and helping his side to the Polish league title.
International
Ouma made his senior international debut for Kenya at the age of 17 and has since gained a total of 12 caps for his country, playing alongside new Addicks teammate Collins Sichenje.
