Support Charlton Athletic's esteemed academy by signing up for Valley Gold for the 2026/27 season.
Valley Gold gives supporters the opportunity to play a vital role in the club’s future by helping to identify and develop talented young footballers through the Addicks' academy system.
Founded in 1989, Valley Gold was originally established to support the club’s return to The Valley. Once that goal was achieved in December 1992, its focus shifted to helping Charlton’s academy flourish.
In addition to providing substantial financial support for the academy, Valley Gold has also contributed to the club’s women’s team, deaf team, Museum and other initiatives.
The scheme is entirely supporter-funded, with a subscription costing £120 per year.
At every home league fixture, £1,250 is available to be won. Additional bonus draws are held on the opening and final day of the season and at Christmas, where first prize is £5,000, taking Valley Gold’s total annual prize fund to £62,000.

The club had planned to introduce a new membership scheme this summer, but that launch has been postponed until next summer to allow for further supporter consultation.
As part of that consultation process, feedback was received regarding the fairness of Valley Gold's access to away ticket priority. The club will continue to engage with supporters on this matter as discussions around the future membership scheme progress.
