Charlton Athletic Women head to Goodison Park to face Everton in the second game of the Barclays WSL season on Sunday (KO 2pm BST).

TEAM NEWS
Charlton Women have added three new players on the final day of the transfer window, and they have now all been announced.
Defenders Hawa Cissoko and Leighanne Robe were both unveiled the day before the game against Liverpool, with Robe even being an unused substitute on Sunday.
Cissoko arrives at Charlton after spending the past two years playing in Italy and brings with her Barclays WSL experience, having previously played for West Ham in the league.
Robe has played in both the BWSL and BWSL2, most recently featuring for Cruz Azul and Pumas UNAM in Mexico.
On Thursday, Charlton announced the signing of Cassandra Korhonen on a two-year contract from Danish club HB Koge.
The forward arrives at Charlton with experience of competing at the highest levels of the women's game in Sweden, Finland, Portugal, Switzerland, and Denmark.
THE OPPOSITION
Everton finished the 2025/26 BWSL season in 8th, finishing on 22 points. In their first game of the 2026/27 season, they started with a loss, away at newly promoted Crystal Palace, 1-0.
The Toffees have made six signings this summer, with Hannah Blundell's loan contract made permanent and forward Hannah Cain added to their ranks from Leicester City.
Manager Scott Phelan's contract was made permanent over the summer after joining the side on an interim basis in February.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
This will be the first league meeting between Charlton Athletic and Everton since February 2022 in the fifth round of the FA Cup. The Toffees were 2-0 winners that day,
The last time Charlton and Everton met in a league game was back in the 07/08 season. Everton also won both the home and away ties in that season.
The most recent win for Charlton was in the 06/07 season. The Addicks won that game 1-0 thanks to a Natasha Dowie goal in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
