Charlton return to Sky Bet Championship action this weekend as they travel to south Wales to take on Cardiff City on Saturday lunchtime (12.30pm BST).
The Addicks come into the game off the back of successive 0-0 draws with Queens Park Rangers and Portsmouth respectively.
TEAM NEWS
Kayne Ramsay (ankle), Nathaniel Chalobah (thigh), Matty Godden (hamstring) and Will Mannion (shoulder) all remain unavailable through injury, as does Collins Sichenje (knee).
Billy Koumetio (knee) is nearing a return to fitness, although the trip to the Cardiff City Stadium may come too soon for the defender.
Josh Edwards (ankle) is in contention to feature.
Cardiff, meanwhile, will be without Will Fish (hernia), Calum Chambers (knee), Rubin Colwill (ankle) and Isaak Davis (hamstring), but Dylan Lawlor (knee) is set to return.
THE OPPOSITION
The Bluebirds are yet to win so far this season, having collected four points from their opening seven games of the 2026/27 Sky Bet Championship campaign.
Brian Barry-Murphy's side suffered a 2-0 defeat to Portsmouth at Fratton Park in their last league outing.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
Charlton have faced off with Cardiff on 76 previous occasions, with the Addicks winning 33, the Bluebirds 22 and the remaining 21 encounters ending in draws.
The two sides last met in June 2020 during the Covid-19-affected season, playing out a goalless draw at the Cardiff City Stadium.
The Addicks’ last league win away at Cardiff City was in March 2015, as Charlton came from a goal behind to win 2-1 thanks to late goals from Tony Watt and Yoni Buyens.
REF WATCH
Elliot Bell will oversee proceedings on Saturday afternoon. The referee has taken charge of six games so far this season, dishing out 23 yellow cards and two red cards.
He will be assisted by Darren Williams and Conall Bartlett, while Lewis Sandoe has been appointed as the Fourth Official.
TICKETS
The club have received an allocation of 2,231 tickets for the trip to the Cardiff City Stadium.
Tickets will go off sale at 9am on Friday morning.
Remaining tickets will be available to purchase (card only) from the away ticket office, but will be subject to a £7 increase.
