A number of Addicks were in action for their respective loan clubs last weekend, with the 2026/27 EFL season getting under way with the first round of the Carabao Cup.
Academy graduate Keenan Gough made his Bristol Rovers debut in their Carabao Cup tie, playing 35 minutes after coming on as a second-half substitute in the Gas’ narrow 1-0 defeat at home to Peterborough United.
Tanto Olaofe was also in Carabao Cup action as he made his debut for Lincoln City, featuring for 11 minutes as the Imps secured a 2-1 victory over Derby County at Pride Park. Lincoln will now travel to Blackpool in round two.
Zach Mitchell completed another 90 minutes for St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership as they suffered a 1-0 defeat at St Mirren.
Meanwhile, in the Enterprise National League, Henry Rylah made his debut for Solihull Moors as he played the first half of their 5-2 loss against Harrogate Town at the Marcy Fitness Stadium.
Fellow academy graduate Josh Laqeretabua came on as a 65th-minute substitute in Dorking Wanderers’ 1-0 defeat to Dagenham and Redbridge in the Enterprise National League South.
Gassan Ahadme (Cambridge United) and Ty Ewens-Findlay (Crawley Town) did not feature in the matchday squads for their respective loan clubs.
