Lloyd Jones was on the scoresheet once again on Saturday afternoon as the Addicks secured an impressive 2-1 victory over West Ham at the London Stadium.
“It's not bad, not bad, eh?!" he said to CharltonTV.
“We have got another three points, and what a feeling, an unreal feeling.”
“I knew the fans would turn up in their numbers; they have been unbelievable.”
The defender has now found the net in back-to-back games, opening the scoring inside seven minutes with a superb overhead kick.
“I haven’t got a clue where the goals have come from; I must be ill or something! To be honest, I didn’t see it go in, I whacked my head, so I didn’t see it go in!”
“I haven’t seen the goal back, I don’t know if I look like a stiff idiot or not! I think I have shocked myself a bit!”
The travelling Charlton supporters were in fine voice on Saturday afternoon and showed up in their numbers in a sold out away end in East London.
“The fans are unbelievable, I know I keep saying that, but when they come in their numbers, they really do give us that extra ten percent.”
“We were 2-0 up, it was disappointing when we conceded but to see it out for another 20 minutes, it’s an unbelievable feeling.”
