Keenan Gough has joined Sky Bet League Two side Bristol Rovers on loan for the 2026/27 season.
The 20-year-old defender, who joined the Addicks’ academy at U9 level, enjoyed an impressive breakout season last term, featuring five times for the first team and earning a new long-term contract with the club.
Manager Nathan Jones said: "Keenan is an excellent talent with a bright future ahead of him. We believe regular first team football is the next step in his development, and this move to Bristol Rovers provides a great opportunity for him to continue progressing. It will give him the chance to play consistently in a competitive environment, and we'll be closely monitoring his progress throughout the loan spell."
Everyone at the club would like to wish Keenan the very best of luck during his time at the Memorial Stadium.
