The forward returns to the club where he began his career, having progressed through the academy at Sparrows Lane.
Charlton Athletic
The Addicks academy graduate joined the club as a 12-year-old after being spotted during a Charlton Athletic Community Trust holiday course and made his senior debut in 2014 at the age of 17.
A key part of the club’s U18s and U21s, his goalscoring prowess as a youngster earned him international recognition for England at U17, U18 and U19 level.
Grant had two loan spells whilst at Charlton, a short-term deal to Cambridge United and half a season spent on loan at Crawley Town.
The forward went on to play 98 times for the Addicks, scoring 21 goals and registering nine assists, before leaving in January 2019, earning a move to the Premier League with Huddersfield Town after hitting 14 goals for Lee Bowyer’s side during the first half of the 2018/19 season.

Huddersfield Town
In January 2019, Grant signed a three-year-deal with then-Premier League side Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee. A standout 2021/22 season saw him score 18 goals in 45 appearances in the Championship, while Grant netted 35 times in total for West Brom.
Cardiff City (loan)
