Club legend Johnnie Jackson and former Addicks stopper Mike Ammann are set to star in exclusive Q&A sessions in Club 1905 ahead of the Addicks’ upcoming clashes with Queens Park Rangers and Portsmouth at The Valley on Wednesday, September 9th (8pm BST) and Saturday, September 12th, respectively.
Jackson played 279 games for Charlton, scoring 55 goals, and was involved in two promotions to the Championship, as club captain in 2011/12, and as Assistant Manager in 2019/20.
He was announced as Caretaker Manager in October 2021, before being appointed as the club’s permanent boss in December 2021, with his tenure lasting until May the following year. A true fan favourite, supporters will have the chance to listen to the former skipper in Club 1905 before the meeting with the Hoops.
Meanwhile, American goalkeeper Ammann joined the Addicks in 1994 following a successful trial and featured 31 times for the club.
The stopper featured in some memorable games during his time in SE7, most notably keeping a clean sheet in the 2-0 win over Millwall at The Den in the snow in December 1995.
