The Addicks will be represented by ball number six in the Carabao Cup second round draw on Monday night.
The draw, which is split into a southern and northern section, will take place during the build-up to Plymouth Argyle's first-round tie against Exeter City on Sky Sports Football.
Sky Sports presenter David Prutton will host the draw at approximately 7.20pm, alongside pundits Jobi McAnuff and Jamie Mackie.
Round two sees the introduction of the 11 Premier League clubs not participating in European competitions.
Second-round ties will be played during the week commencing Monday, August 24th.
