Club and Trust celebrate Red, White and Black Day 2026

-

The club's annual Red, White and Black Day parade took place ahead of Charlton's Barclays Women’s Super League fixture against Chelsea at The Valley on Sunday, November 1st.

Held ahead of a women's first-team fixture for the first time, the parade brought together local schools, Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) participants and a range of community groups from across south-east London and Kent.

Red, White and Black Day is a cornerstone of the club's longstanding commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion. A proud part of Charlton's identity for more than three decades, the initiative once again continued to unite players, supporters, staff, partners and the wider community.

This year's parade, delivered in partnership with CACT and the University of Greenwich, began at Charlton Station and concluded at The Valley. It was led by Charlton Vice-Chairman Paul Elliott CBE MBE and CACT CEO Jason Morgan MBE.

In front of the BBC's camera, ahead of kick-off against the Blues, Karen Hills' squad also warmed up in special Red, White and Black Day shirts to mark the occasion.
