Billy Koumetio arrived at Charlton in July 2026, joining from Scottish Premiership side Dundee for an undisclosed fee.

Born in Lyon, France, Koumetio spent time at his hometown club Olympique Lyon and US Orléans as a youngster before joining Liverpool in November 2018.

The defender penned his first professional contract with the Reds in August 2020 and earned his senior debut four months later in Liverpool’s Champions League tie against Midtjylland.

After gaining valuable senior experience during loan spells with Austria Vienna, USL Dunkerque and Blackburn Rovers, he completed a permanent move to Dundee in the summer of 2024.

The France youth international has since made 43 appearances for the Dee, scoring once.
