Albie Morgan’s standout performances at youth level earned him a call up to the first team last season. A debut win against Shrewsbury saw him comfortably slot into Charlton’s midfield despite his young age.
The midfield man has a brilliant touch and displays a brilliant range of passing and his vital contributions earned him a call up to the senior squad. After a good pre-season, Morgan was handed the number 19 shirt and became the first Charlton player to be born in the new millennium.
Morgan’s reliability saw him make it into Bowyers squad for the play-off semi-finals where he came close to scoring against Doncaster Rovers in the away leg.
Kent-raised Morgan joined the Addicks’ youth system as an U13 and always impressed on the pitch during his time at the academy.
