Versatile defender, Deji Oshilaja became Charlton’s seventh signing of the summer of 2019 when he agreed terms with the Addicks.
A player able to perform anywhere across the back line, Oshilaja is a ball playing defender who likes to be in possession and think positively.
Another team captain, Oshilaja had skippered AFC Wimbledon prior to joining Charlton and added to Lee Bowyers defensive line of leaders.
Starting his career off in Wales with Cardiff City, Oshilaja struggled to break into the first team and instead learnt his trade on loan at Newport County, Sheffield Wednesday, Gillingham and AFC Wimbledon, Joining the latter club on a permanent basis in 2017. Oshilaja enjoyed two seasons with Wombles, picking up the captains armband during his time there.
He made 103 Appearances, scoring 4 times, for AFC Wimbledon.
