Phillips is a product of Charlton’s esteemed youth academy and has remained patient for the number one shirt at The Valley – something he was awarded ahead of the 2018/19 season.
After being thrust into the first team for the opening fixtures of last season Dillon Phillips lost his place to Jed Steer before the on-loan 'keeper was recalled. Dillon went on to have a strong second half of the season ensuring his name was a regular on the team sheet.
His heroics in the season include crucial penalty saves at Plymouth Argyle and in the play-off semi-final penalty shootout against Doncaster Rovers. Phillips will no doubt be wanting to replicate last seasons form and continue his place in the starting XI
