Tariqe Fosu made a huge impact at Charlton during his debut season at The Valley.
After a successful loan spell with Colchester United in 2016/17, scoring five times in 33 matches, Fosu earned his move to SE7 from Reading.
Fosu made one senior appearance for the Royals, against Derby County in 2015. Brief loans spells at Accrington Stanley and Fleetwood Town were sandwiched in before his move to The Valley where he very quickly caught the eye of supporters.
A goal in the 4-3 win at Oldham Athletic was a sign of things to come before a purple patch saw him score six goals in four outings in September and October, including a hat-trick against Fleetwood Town.
His skill and direct style of play has made him a firm fans’ favourite amongst supporters, who voted him as their Player of the Year runner-up.
Fans will be hoping the wide-man can stay injury free and pick up where he left off last season.
