Please find below answers to frequently asked questions about Valley Pass ahead of Saturday's game against Reading.

The club will continue to update this page based on queries from supporters (last update 11/07/2020).

Do I need to be a Valley Pass subscriber to access live streaming?

No, you don’t need to be a Valley Pass subscriber. However, you do need to have registered a Valley Pass account. This is free to do and can be done here.

I’ve tried resetting my password for my account but I don’t get any emails, what should I do?

Please check your junk mail. If you are still having problems please email website@cafc.co.uk.

What pass do I need to watch Saturday's game?

I have already purchased, where do I watch the game?

We would recommend you test your live stream ahead of Saturday’s game.

Please note, you have to watch via the Valley Pass app if using a tablet or mobile device, you will not be able to watch the live stream without the app.

I have already purchased a pass but haven't been sent a code?

If you purchased from the club's ticketing website you should have been sent a code. If you haven't received it, please email website@cafc.co.uk.

If you purchased via the Valley Pass website, you do not need a code to watch Saturday's game.

We would recommend you test your live stream ahead of Saturday’s game.

I purchased a multi-game pass, do I still need a new code?

If you purchased the pass for the rest of the season last, you don't need a new code, just log-in as normal. We would recommend trying this early in case you have any problems.

If you purchased a home-game package and/or an away-game package, you will need a new code for each game.

I have purchased with CAFC Cash, how do I activate the code I have been given?

To activate your code, simply click here, scroll down and put the code you have been sent into the box below “Have you got a Gift Voucher or Discount Code?”.

Then click “Redeem”. 

If you are already logged into Valley Pass then the process will be complete. If you aren’t logged in, you will need to log-in. If you don’t already have a Valley Pass account, you will need to register. 

I'm a season-ticket holder, how do I purchase a multi-game package?

The deadline has passed to purchase Saturday’s game with money owed from ticket purchase with CAFC Cash.

However, you can purchase Saturday's game here: https://charltonafcpayments.streamamg.com/account/register/step1 

Season-ticket holders will be able to access CAFC Cash for multi-game streaming purchases again from Sunday, they will go off-sale at 9am on Wednesday ahead of the game against Birmingham City that evening.

I have tried to purchase but I can't log-in?

Please email website@cafc.co.uk explaining your problem.

I have tried to purchase but I get an error saying: "The authentication cookie has not been set".

This is due to Apple disabling cross site tracking by default, please see below steps to resolve:

Safari for Mac:

1. Open Safari if it is not already open.

2. Click the "Safari" menu and choose "Preferences" and then "Privacy"

3. Depending on your version of OS:

4. Click prevent Cross Site Tracking to disable this setting.

Safari for Mobile or Tablet:

1. Go to Settings

2. Click on Safari

3. Privacy & Security

4. Turn the toggle 'Prevent Cross Site Tracking' to 'Off'.

What about if a Charlton game is on Sky Sports?

Due to EFL restrictions only season-ticket holders will be able to access Charlton games selected for broadcast by Sky Sports on Valley Pass. Season-ticket holders will need to purchase through the club’s ticketing website by clicking here for any games on Sky Sports, the game will be also be covered in any relevant multi-game package. Any purchases using CAFC Cash must be made before 9am on the last working day before a game.

Will Charlton games be behind the red button on Sky Sports?

None of Charlton’s remaining games are set to be behind the red button on Sky Sports.

I've purchased a package on the ticketing website and my code hasn't arrived yet?

Season-ticket holders who purchased a nine-game or eight-game package do not need a new code for Saturday's game.

Supporters who purchased a home package will have their codes distributed early this week.

Match codes and codes for new eight-game packages will be distributed on the next working day after purchase.

How do I watch games on Valley Pass?

On Saturday coverage from The Valley begins on Valley Pass at 11.30am. If you have a pass, click here at that time to watch the live stream on your desktop or laptop. If you want to watch from a phone or tablet you will need to download the Valley Pass app, log-in and click on the ‘Live’ button

Ahead of Saturday's game please access the test stream from Wednesday morning to make sure you’ll be able to gain access to Saturday’s game. Click here to test the live stream channel at any point on laptop or desktop. If you want to test from a phone or tablet you will need to download the Valley Pass app, log-in and click on the ‘Live’ button. The test stream currently has a message saying "Content not broadcasting". If you get any other message please email website@cafc.co.uk.

Will Valley Pass be able to cope with the increased demand for the remaining games?

The club has worked with our streaming partners to make sure Valley Pass is able to cope with the additional demand. Should you have any technical issues on the day of the game with the stream, please email VPSupport@streamamg.com.

I can’t watch the live stream on my mobile or tablet?

Due to EFL regulations, to watch the game on your mobile or tablet you’ll need to watch it via the Valley Pass app. To access the app, simply search for Valley Pass in your respective app store. From there you can log-in and scroll over to the ‘Live’ page. 

What do I do if I have technical difficulties in the run-up or during the game?

Should you have any technical issues on the day of the game with the stream, please email VPSupport@streamamg.com.

What do I do if I'm having trouble with my password reset?

If you are having issues with resetting your password please email website@cafc.co.uk.
