Subject Parkinson satisfied with a point!
Author steve foweraker -Posted 03/02/2010 at 12:31 PM
Message Another great performance in front of a microphone from Parkinson after yet another disappointment on the pitch.
Is he also satisfied with the 12 points taken from the past 8 games?
We are performaning as we did at the end of last season - managing not to lose but incapable of winning enough games. Last season it cost us our Championship status, this season it will cost us promotion.
The man is an idiot, is neither in tune with his players and certainly not in tune with the great majority of fans.
We will lose another 10,000 off our gate next season if this man is not soon replaced.
We are a business, nit just a football team and the situation is more complicated than just keeping our fingers crossed and that Parkinson will eventually get things right.
If only it were as simple and straight forward as the CS brigade would have you believe.
Interestingly, they only ever respond to our posts, especially if it is criticism of Parkinson. How many posts do they initiate? No original thoughts of their own and they never put their head above the parapet and make a comment of their own.
No wonder they are happy with this man in charge!

Reply Walsall might have some new players, change of style or whatever, because their is no way the would be a safe mid-table side if they play like they played against us back in August every week. They had absoloutely nothing going for them.

Reply I was there last night & yes I came away disappointed with only a point - but NO I am not blaming PP for that - he picked a side that freshened up - bringing in Wagstaff, Solly, Racon & A.Sodge(all performed well on probably the worst pitch you will ever see in modern times) and with 75% of the play - should have won.
We didn't but we didn't lose either.

Reply That's the problem we can't win when we have 75% of the play, also Walsall were down to 10 men. I'll be disappointed when we end up playing another season in Division Three, that's if we still have a club to support.

Reply CS of course you wouldn't blame PP if he told all the players to stick there heads in the oven before a game as it would give them extra stamina you would agree with him!

Tell me then CS why has he just signed another forward on loan Ake Sodje who is quite frankly no better than what we already have, apart from Mooney, who isn't a prolific goal scorer plus was not fully fit as he hasn't been playing! Yet he won't, like Dickson, thought I would add that in for you, give McKenzie a start who is actually one of our own players and has been fully fit for a while, it must do wonders for moral!

Surely even you can see we don't have an out and out hitman, all the other top teams have one. we have a collection of similar strikers who rarely score, even Burton you have to go back quite a while before he actually scored a goal in open play. Take away the penalties and the strike rate of all our forwards put together is pathetic, though obviously some never get starts!

When he bought McKenzie PP told us he was the man to score us goals, well CS perhaps you should tell you friend PP. he can't sitting on the bench!

We also ship in goals every game yet PP seems to do little about it other than dropping Llera. We urgently needed a quality centre back with some speed to shore up the defence rather than another average striker who rarely scores, we have our fill of those!

Reply MMcQ - I await the reply from CS with interest - if you get one - , as your post simply cannot be argued against. Well said.
