Morgan Fox well and truly made the left-back berth his own in 2015/16, proving solid throughout the difficult season.

Since making his first-team breakthrough in 2014, the Chelmsford-born defender had gone on to make 86 appearances for the Addicks by the end of last term and is set to hit his century by mid-October.

The reliable defender scored his only goal for the club so far on opening day last term, striking a sweet effort into the bottom corner to round off a 2-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers at The Valley and the youngster’s performances have seen him catch the eye of Wales Manager Chris Coleman.

Fox was called up to senior Red Dragons squad for the first time for their Euro 2016 qualifiers against Cyprus and Israel last September, but is still waiting to make his bow on the full international stage.

Possessing a terrific left foot and strong in the tackle, he is another who has excelled after emerging through the ranks of the club’s renowned academy and, with U21 caps already in his name, he will have aspirations to make Coleman’s full squad on a more regular basis this year.
