Fans can help to support the club's academy by joining Valley Gold, the benefits of which include cash prizes - and there was an unknowing winner in the recent half-time draw against Peterborough United.
Academy manager Steve Avory toasted success when he scooped the £350 second prize against the Posh last month.
Avory, who is currently overseeing the U18 side following Damian Matthew's promotion to first-team coach, was able to watch the Addicks take on the Posh because planned opponents Chelsea were in FA Youth Cup action.
And after landing the cash prize, he plans to reinvest the money into the club's youth set-up to help pay for transport to an away game later this season.
"I haven't had the money yet, but I'll certainly be looking to put it back into the academy," he said.
"As we made clear earlier this season as part of the 'academy day', even relatively small amounts can make a big difference to us, and with trips coming up to the likes of Aston Villa, this will help pay for our coach travel."
With the big screen now back up and running, the winning numbers are again displayed on the screen at half-time. More details on Valley Gold can be found here.
