Sodje soaring
After notching his third goal in as many games in Saturday's 2-0 win over Stockport County, Akpo Sodje is determined to keep on firing Charlton towards automatic promotion.
Sodje's header, coupled with Paul Huntington's own goal, secured Charlton a vital victory over the Hatters and moved the Addicks to within two points of second-placed Leeds United, who drew 1-1 at home to Brentford the same day.
And, after also notching against Brighton & Hove Albion and Southend United, Sodje is keen to keep his goalscoring run going as the Addicks enter the last 11 games of the campaign.
"It's three goals in three games for me now and I'm excited I'm back scoring again,” said Sodje. "Now I just want to keep it going until the end of the season.

"We did exactly what the manager wanted us to do. We started with a high tempo, which is something we didn't do in our last home game against Brighton, and we got off to a great start."
After the unfortunate Huntington had turned the ball into his own net, unmarked striker Sodje doubled Charlton's lead, meeting a fine cross from Frazer Richardson to plant a firm header past Owain Fon Williams.
"It was a good cross from Fraze," mused Sodje. "I got into space; I do that a lot in training and it paid off on Saturday."
With two goals in the first 10 minutes to their name, it looked as if Charlton might rack up a meaty scoreline against the Hatters, but it wasn't to be as basement boys Stockport regrouped and dug deep.
"After we scored twice, they were better," stated Sodje. "There was a lot of space in the first half. There could have been more goals, but we're pleased with the three points."
The victory made it three wins in four games for Charlton as the Addicks aim to secure promotion back to the Championship at the first time of asking.
There are some tough fixtures ahead for Phil Parkinson's men, but Sodje, on loan from Sheffield Wednesday, said: "We're back on track. We've won three in four and that's what we needed to do. All we need to do is concentrate on our own game."
Greenwich-born Sodje scored twice in nine games during his initial loan spell at The Valley earlier this season, before returning to Wednesday.
He was back in SE7 in January, however, and could earn a permanent move if he plays a certain number of games between now and the end of the campaign.
"I'm glad I'm scoring," he reflected. "That's why the manager brought me here. But it's not just about me; the whole team is playing well."
