Free spirit

It's the only way fans can listen to every game as the Addicks continue their promotion bid - and CAFC Player is offering supporters a free 14-day trial from Saturday's match against Stockport County.

CAFC Player is offering supporters a free 14-day trial

The club's video website is allowing fans free access for two weeks from this weekend's fixture against the Hatters.

The no-fee fortnight will allow supporters to try out the popular website, which currently has over 1,200 subscribers, and offers highlights of every single match, live audio commentaries and exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews and features.

And with plenty at stake for the Addicks as they challenge for automatic promotion to the Championship, there has never been a better time to sign up for the Charlton-themed service.

Fans can start their fortnight at any stage between March 6th and March 20th, and not only will they be able to listen to live commentary from games involving their heroes, they can also watch the pre and post-match thoughts of Addicks boss Phil Parkinson and his players.

Available to view now are the views of Parkinson ahead of the clash with the Hatters. The Addicks gaffer also reveals that he would like to hang on to loan recruit Johnnie Jackson for longer, as well as giving the latest injury news on Kelly Youga and Deon Burton

There are also stacks of unique features unavailable anywhere else, so if you are Addick-ted to all things Charlton - then you really can't miss this opportunity.

The special offer ends on Saturday, March 20th, so fans must act swiftly to take advantage of the trial.

Subscriptions to CAFC Player - which was updated at the start of the current campaign and now boasts improved audio and widescreen video, and can also be accessed by Mac users - cost just £34.99 per year or £3.99 per month.

That's less than 10p per day, and the website also has an enhanced live match centre, with up-to-the minute feeds and match stats from all divisions, giving fans the perfect matchday destination.

In addition to more than six minutes of highlights from the recent Southend United thriller, fans have been able to see all of Parkinson's recent pre-match and post-match interviews with the media plus the thoughts of Kyel Reid, Akpo Sodje and Jackson, not to mention an insightful look into the club's security operation.

And as well as the match commentaries, a live matchday centre provides fans with text updates and a league table that updates as the goals go in across the country.

Along with the technical enhancements, there is an improved account management facility, with the Player service developed by an ex-BBC usability expert who was involved in the creation of the BBC iPlayer.

If fans do not wish to remain subscribed to CAFC Player, they can cancel within the 14-day trial by visiting the My Account section of Player. If fans do not cancel, they will automatically roll onto the £3.99 monthly subscription, which can be cancelled at any time.

Sign up to CAFC Player here.

Live commentary of Saturday's match will be available on CAFC Player courtesy of BBC LONDON's commentary team. The Addicks' Twitter feed @CAFCofficial will keep fans updated as well.
