Murray's musings

Prior to last Thursday's question-and-answer session with Richard Murray, fans were betting how long it would take a supporter to ask Charlton's plc chairman the latest news on a potential takeover of the Addicks.

Richard Murray attended a question-and-answer session at The Valley hosted by the fans' forum

Unsurprisingly, it was the first question of the night, and equally predictable was that Murray's response - which can now be seen in full on CAFC Player - would be so detailed.

The footage is the first of a series of edited extracts from the Valley event - hosted by the fans' forum - which will appear on the club's video website over the coming weeks.

Subscriptions to CAFC Player, which can now be accessed by Macs, cost just £34.99 per year or £3.99 per month.

From Zabeel to potential current deals, Murray's answer to the takeover question lasts more than 10 minutes.

And subscribers can also currently see a special interview with fans' forum members Dave Rudd, Gary Davenport and Geoff Billingsley, who discuss how they represent the views of their peers to the highest levels of the club.

In addition to extracts from the evening's discussion on a range of matters with plc chairman Murray, coming soon will be reaction from supporters to a series of questions posed by CAFC Player, plus extended highlights of the dramatic away match against Yeovil Town on November 21st.

And the club's video website will also have live commentary of Tuesday night's League One clash with Brighton & Hove Albion at the Withdean Stadium.

CAFC Player offers behind-the-scenes access to The Valley and Sparrows Lane, with exclusive interviews and features, such as Phil Parkinson's pre and post-match press conferences.

In addition to audio commentaries, the live matchday centre provides fans with text updates and a league table that refreshes as the goals go in across the country.

Along with the technical enhancements, there is an improved account management facility, with the Player service developed by an ex-BBC usability expert who was involved in the creation of the BBC iPlayer.
