More than 800 children attended the October half-term football courses organised by the Charlton Community Trust - and now youngsters can take advantage of a special Christmas present

This year, the Addicks are running two extra days of sessions in the run-up to the big day on December 25th.

So now schoolchildren across Greenwich, Bexley and Kent can look forward to some football fun as well as the festive season.

Bookings are now being taken for the courses, which will take place at four venues on Monday, December 21st and Tuesday, December 22nd.

In addition to the trained coaches on hand to improve players' games, plenty of fun lies in store for youngsters aged between five and 15, with a number of prizes to win and goodie bags including match tickets to be distributed.

The courses, priced £30, will run from 10am-3pm each day, and application forms are available to download here.

Two-day courses:

1. Charlton training ground, Sparrows Lane, New Eltham - £30

2. Coldharbour Leisure Centre, Chapel Farm Road, Mottingham - £30

3. Wilderness Sports Centre, Hollow Road, Seal, Sevenoaks - £30

4. Crook Log Leisure Centre, Brampton Road, Bexleyheath - £30
