Parkinson charged by FA
Charlton manager Phil Parkinson has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association after being sent to the stands during last Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Carlisle United.

Parkinson was sent to the stands at Brunton Park by match referee Mark Haywood in the aftermath of the hosts' opening 40th-minute goal, a hotly-disputed penalty awarded for a foul by Deon Burton on Danny Livesay.
Speaking afterwards, Parkinson said: "I was annoyed that it was a penalty. I lost my cool, which isn't good. It's a passionate game and sometimes those things happen.
"That decision hasn't cost us the game, but why he gave that penalty I'm really not sure.
"I've asked him [Haywood]. He said he felt there was a push in there. It just seemed to be so quick; it was as if he'd almost made his mind up to award a penalty before the ball had come into the box."
In a statement released on Wednesday afternoon, the FA said that Parkinson has until 6pm on Monday to admit or deny the charge of improper conduct relating to FA rule E3. A regulatory commission will hear the charge by or before Monday, November 23rd.
Last Saturday's incident was the third time Parkinson has been ordered from the touchline in his time as Charlton boss.
