Elliot injury sees Ikeme arrive
Charlton have snapped up Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Carl Ikeme on an emergency loan following an injury to Rob Elliot, the club announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Addicks number one Elliot - ever-present this term - suffered a torn adductor muscle during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Gillingham and is likely to be out for around six weeks, leaving Charlton with just one senior goalkeeper in Darren Randolph.
Ikeme will initially stay with Charlton for 28 days, up to and including the home game with Bristol Rovers at The Valley on Tuesday, November, 24th.
Explaining his decision, Charlton boss Phil Parkinson told the official website: "Robbie Elliot is out for up to six weeks and we couldn't go into this busy period with only one goalkeeper so we're delighted to bring in Carl on loan.
"Carl is a good goalkeeper. He offers a big, physical presence and we're looking forward to working with him. He won't be able to play for us in the FA Cup, but he will be available for league games and the Johnstone's Paint Trophy."
Highly-rated Ikeme progressed through the Wolves academy to be named as an unused substitute for seven games during the 2003/04 Premier League season.
After loan spells with Accrington Stanley and Stockport County, Sutton Coldfield-born Ikeme made his Wolves bow in a League Cup match in August 2005.
Almost exactly a year later, he made his first league appearance as a late substitute in a 1-0 win over Luton Town.
The 23-year-old suffered a knee injury during the 2006/07 season and had to undergo surgery, keeping him out of contention until the end of the year.
But, following a suspension to regular number one Wayne Hennessey, Ikeme made his full Wolves debut in September 2008 in a 2-0 win over Bristol City. He went on to play the next 10 games until being sidelined by a hip injury. In total, 6' 3" Ikeme has made 16 first-team appearances for Wolves to date.
Ikeme qualifies to play for Nigeria but, despite being called into the Super Eagles' squad on several occasions, he is still waiting to feature for his country.
