FA Cup tie live on ITV

Charlton's FA Cup first-round tie against Northwich Victoria will be televised live by ITV, the terrestrial broadcaster confirmed on Tuesday afternoon.

The match, which takes place at the Blue Square North side's Victoria Stadium, will kick off at 1.30pm on Sunday, November 8th.

And Addicks winger Scott Wagstaff could give manager Phil Parkinson the inside track on the Cheshire club, having featured five times on loan for the Vics last season before scoring and being dismissed in an action-packed final fixture against Eastbourne Borough.

The North-West side defeated FC United of Manchester 3-0 at home in the final qualifying round to reach the first round proper - and while Charlton featured in the first-round draw, made last Sunday, for the first time since 1980, the Addicks boast the rare distinction of having never lost to a non-League outfit in the club's history.

Other highlights of the first-round draw include Norwich City's visit to non-League Paulton Rovers, plus an all-League One clash between Oldham Athletic and Leeds United.

Both games have also been selected by ITV for live coverage; the former will be screened on Saturday on ITV1 (like Charlton's match the following day), while the latter will be shown on the Football Association website.

Stuart Fleetwood's loan side Exeter City travel to Nuneaton Town, while fellow striker Chris Dickson could feature for Bristol Rovers, who host Southampton, depending on whether the duo receive permission to play in the competition.

Ticket information for the FA Cup fixture will be announced shortly.
