CAFC TV – your questions answered
The official website has compiled a list of questions fans might have regarding the new Addicks video website CAFC TV.

What is CAFC TV?
CAFC TV is a new subscription Charlton website featuring a range of video content, including match highlights, and live online match audio commentary.
What's happening to the current official website, www.cafc.co.uk?
Nothing. The club prides itself on the unique look of the existing official website, which will continue in its current form. The only major changes will be the addition of a number of links and menu buttons to CAFC TV from www.cafc.co.uk. One other probable change is that the matchday in-game updates will be discontinued as it is duplicated by the text commentary service within CAFC TV.
How do I access CAFC TV?
From the launch of CAFC TV on Wednesday, fans will see a number of links to the new video website at www.cafc.co.uk. Having accessed CAFC TV, fans can save the CAFC TV homepage as a bookmark should they wish.
What are the benefits of CAFC TV?
How much does it cost?
Fans have a number of options.
How do I sign up?
Go to CAFC TV and follow the instructions.
Where do my subscriptions go?
CAFC TV is intended to offer fans a range of new services rather than be a major new source of revenue to the club. To that end, the club receives only a small percentage of the subscription fee paid by fans, with the vast majority going to The Football League.
When is CAFC TV being launched?
CAFC TV will be up and running from Wednesday, and fans can immediately access an archive of past Charlton matches from the last two seasons, Football League preview programmes, and see a range of statistics from matches in 2008/09. The first audio commentary will take place at Saturday's match against Birmingham City.
What happens if I don't subscribe?
Nothing, but you will be unable to access the video content available at CAFC TV. You will still be able to access the existing www.cafc.co.uk as usual.
Who will provide the audio commentary?
The audio commentary will be provided by commentators from Charlton's official radio partners, BBC LONDON 94.9.
BBC LONDON 94.9FM and BBC Radio Kent 774 MW do not cover every Charlton game. Does that mean there won't be audio commentary on every game via CAFC TV?
Although there is not coverage of every Charlton match via BBC LONDON 94.9FM and BBC Radio Kent 774 MW, commentators do attend every game (to provide match updates for the stations if not doing live commentary). Commentary of all Charlton matches will therefore be available via CAFC TV.
When can I see match highlights?
Fans can watch match highlights from previous games at their leisure. The Football League broadcasting rights deal means fans will be able to watch match highlights 24 hours after the end of a specific match, or, in terms of Saturday matches, from 12pm on Sundays.
Who operates CAFC TV?
The website is managed by the club's communications team, similarly to www.cafc.co.uk, although, whereas the club has complete control over www.cafc.co.uk, Perform (The Football League's online partner), is responsible for uploading the match highlights and Football League preview programmes. The audio commentary is provided by BBC LONDON 94.9.
What are the system requirements for CAFC TV?
Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP SP1 or SP2 (while still in its development stage, Perform does not guarantee that this site will function using Vista) Internet Explorer 6 or higher is required Windows Media Player 9 or higher A fast broadband connection (512kb or higher) Fans can see the full list of system requirements and FAQs on the CAFC TV site - subscription is not required to access this section.

Fans can see the full list of system requirements and FAQs on the CAFC TV site - subscription is not required to access this section.
