Eagles tickets still up for grabs

Tickets remain on sale to season-ticket holders and Red Card members for Charlton's trip to Crystal Palace on Tuesday night (8pm).

The match has taken on even more importance - if that's possible - after the Addicks slipped to defeat to Sheffield Wednesday at The Valley on Saturday.

Four points from their last two away matches, and an unbeaten seven-game league record against the Eagles, bodes well for Alan Pardew's men on Tuesday, however - but fans only have until 2pm that day to purchase tickets.

Meanwhile, tickets for the away match against Cardiff City are also now on general sale.

Both season-ticket holders and Red Card members can buy two seats per membership number for Tuesday night's fixture against Charlton's South London rivals at Selhurst Park.

However, supporters should note that they will be unable to purchase places from the ground in advance of kick-off, which means fans will have until 2pm earlier the same day to buy seats in person from The Valley.

Last season, the Addicks did the double over Palace, with Svetoslav Todorov scoring the winner in SE25 and Luke Varney's double doing the damage at The Valley.

And an intriguing sub-plot sees Mark Hudson returning to the club he captained last term, while ex-Addicks centre-half Paddy McCarthy will also come up against Charlton for the first time since his summer switch.

Around 1,000 seats remained on Monday, priced £30 adults and £18 over 60s and U16s. Family tickets (comprising two adults and two U16s) are priced £62.

Fans should note this match kicks off at 8pm, rather than the 7.45pm that was initially, and incorrectly, advertised.

Valley Away coach travel is priced £10, and fans can get full details of the pick-up points and times here. An extra pick-up point is being trialed from Ramsgate for this match.

Fans can read Ian Cartwright's away travel guide to Palace here.

Currently on general sale are tickets for the home matches against Ipswich Town on Saturday (3pm), Bristol City on Tuesday, October 21st (7.45pm) and Burnley on Saturday, October 25th (3pm).

Places for the Ipswich fixture next weekend are priced from £20 adults, £20 over 60s and U21s, and £10 U18s.

Supporters can purchase their seat in person at the Valley commercial centre or Bexleyheath retail outlet, by post, online or on the 0871 226 1905 hotline.

Finally, the club was still waiting to receive the tickets from the Bluebirds for the trip to Wales on Saturday, October 18th (3pm), but have already confirmed the pricing and sale details.

Charlton have been allocated 600 seats, priced £24 adults and £15 over 60s and U16s, and 1,400 standing places on the terrace at Ninian Park, priced £22 adults and £15 over 60s and U16s. Five wheelchair spaces are available, priced £18, which includes a helper free of charge. Five disabled parking bays are priced £5.
