Heed Reed
He's a man with plenty on his plate at the moment, but new Addicks head coach Les Reed still found time to ring every Charlton season-ticket holder on Monday - all 15,000-plus of them.

The stunt, which saw fans receive a pre-recorded voicemail message from Reed, was to publicise the fact that tickets for the club's Carling Cup quarter-final with Wycombe Wanderers had gone on general sale for the first time that morning.
And with Dowie having led Charlton into the last eight of the competition for the first time in the club's history before his shock departure six days previously, Reed will have the chance to become the first man to lead Charlton into the semi-finals on Tuesday, December 19th (8pm).
"It's something a bit unusual, and we hope it will catch fans' attention," explained acting database manager Richard Beale.
"We've had a couple of fans ring in to check the message is genuine, and we can assure supporters it is."
The message regarding tickets, which are priced £15 adults, £10 over 60s and U21s, and £5 U18s, for the clash against the League Two Chairboys was sent out to all season-ticket holders.
And Beale added: "This is the first time we have done something like this and we will be looking to see how much response and interest it generates."
Season-ticket holders have until 8pm on Tuesday, December 5th to reserve their usual seats in the stadium against Wycombe.
Competition rules and expected high demand from the Chairboys mean that season-ticket holders in blocks A, B and part of C in the east stand will be unable to purchase their regular places until after November 30th in case Wycombe require a larger allocation, however. They can still secure alternative seats at The Valley though.
The supporters affected are all those in blocks A and B, and fans in the following seat numbers in block C: Rows A-W (166-179), rows X, Y, Z, AA, BB, CC (166-170), Row DD (166-175) and Row EE (166-175).
A full Valley Express service will operate for the Wycombe match, offering £5 per head return travel from across the South East.
Also now available to season-ticket holders after going on sale on Monday are seats for the visit of Liverpool on Saturday, December 16th (12.45pm), priced £35 adults, £25 over 60s and U21s, and £15 U18s.
The tickets are available to season-ticket holders, plus Platinum Red Card members and members of the free Red Card scheme who have got a previous purchase history.
Supporters should note that they will be unable to join the Platinum Red Card and free Red Card scheme and immediately purchase a ticket to see the match against the men from Anfield if they have not bought seats to any previous games.
The tickets are available to purchase in person from the Valley commercial centre, via the hotline on 0871 226 1905 and online here.
