Addicks agree Valencia link up
Charlton's global growth continued on Saturday following the signing of partnership agreement between the Valley outfit and Spanish giants Valencia.

The four-year deal, which will give Charlton first option on Valencia's players, was signed during half-time in the pre-season friendly between the Premiership and La Liga sides.
The two clubs already share a sponsor in property developer Llanera and in the future they will be able to exchange players, work in tandem on community projects and benefit from combined marketing and commercial opportunities.
Plc chairman Richard Murray and Valencia vice president Carlo Gichella put pen to paper on the agreement - Charlton's fifth collaboration with a foreign club.
Agreements already exist between the Addicks and Belgian side Germinal Beerschot Antwerpen, New Zealand Knights, Mypa of Finland and Chinese team Shanghai Zobon.
The deal came four days after Charlton were praised for their community work in Spain by leader of the opposition - the man hotly tipped to win the country's next election - Mariano Rajoy and received national coverage for his public backing.
Valencia are one of the biggest club's in Spain. Only Barcelona and Real Madrid better their points total in La Liga last term, and manager Quique Sanchez Flores has recently acquired former Premiership stars Fernando Morientes of Liverpool, who scored first in the 3-1 defeat of Charlton, and Chelsea's Asier Del Horno.
