Addicks donate £100,000 to tsunami fund
The directors, players and staff at Charlton have doubled the £50,000 donation made to the Indian Ocean earthquake disaster relief fund - the amount pledged by each of the Premiership clubs - it has been revealed.

The club has pledged £100,000 to the Indian Ocean earthquake disaster relief fund.
On Thursday it was announced that the 20 Premier League clubs, including the Addicks, would donate £50,000 apiece to help those affected by the Boxing Day disaster - a total of £1m.
And at Charlton, the club's directors, players and staff have pledged to double the club's contribution by offering a further £50,000 after witnessing the ongoing suffering in Asia.
Charlton captain Matt Holland said: "Just watching the pictures of the disaster on television has been horrifying, so I can barely imagine what it must be like to be involved in such a catastrophe.
"I think a lot of people feel helpless, but by contributing to the disaster relief fund everyone can play their part in saving further lives and helping the region to recover. That's certainly what we feel at Charlton, and that is what has prompted the further donation by the directors, players and staff."
The pledge will be made to the Disasters Emergency Committee, which is distributing the money to best effect among the charities and agencies undertaking the disaster relief work across the region.
Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore added: "I think everyone has been taken aback by the sheer enormity of events following the Indian Ocean earthquake.
"The Premier League and our clubs have strong connections throughout the region and there was a real feeling among the clubs that we should do something as a collective to try and alleviate some of the pain and suffering that is so evident across those areas affected by the tsunami.
"Our thoughts go out to those who are suffering as a result of this catastrophe and hopefully this donation will help make a real difference as the disaster relief operation gets underway."
A period of silence to remember those killed and injured as a result of the tsunami on December 26th was held before Charlton's match against Everton on Tuesday, and players from both sides wore black armbands.
