Lawrie Wilson has joined Rotherham United on an emergency loan until the end of the season, the club confirmed on Friday morning.
The versatile defender-cum-midfielder has made 27 appearances for Charlton this season, scoring twice, with both goals coming in the 4-0 Capital One Cup victory over Colchester United at The Valley in August.
The 27-year-old joins the Millers in their battle to beat the drop from the Championship with Steve Evans' men currently lying in 20th position, six points clear of Wigan Athletic in 22nd, and eight clear of the Addicks' South-London rivals Millwall in 23rd.
Wilson could make his Rotherham debut in their derby-day clash with Sheffield Wednesday at the AESSEAL New York Stadium on Saturday.
