Tony Watt has joined Cardiff City on loan until January 16th, the club confirmed on Monday morning.
The Scot has netted two goals in 13 Championship appearances so far this season, with the most recent coming in the draw at Derby County in August.
A move to the Welsh capital presents him with an opportunity to rediscover his early-season performances.
Watt, who began his career with Airdree United, rose to prominence in 2012 when he made the move to Celtic and netted two goals on his debut against Motherwell.
The following season, he struck the winner for the Bhoys in an iconic Champions League victory over Spanish giants Barcelona before being loaned to Belgian club Lierse in 2013.
He again found the net on his debut and went on to score eight times in the Pro League during his temporary stint and scored twice more for Standard Liege in 2014 before linking up with the Addicks in January of 2015.
