Charlton's U18s earned a third win on the bounce thanks to Alfie Doughty's double at Sparrows Lane on Saturday.
Having enjoyed a number of half-chances in the first period, the young Addicks finally opened the scoring with 56 minutes on the clock thanks to the tenacity of Doughty, who rounded off a fine move down the right by receiving a smart, cushioned ball over the top from Albie Morgan, taking a touch into the box and sliding in to poke the ball past the keeper, who was advancing at pace.
The forward would enjoy a fruitful afternoon in front of goal and secured his brace in the 69th minute.
A sloppy pass out of the back by a Terriers defender was pounced upon by the Addicks. Alex Willis laid off Brendan Sarpong-Wiredu, whose clever back-heeled flick ran into the path of Doughty, who confidently dispatched his shot into the top-right corner to make the points safe.
The victory puts Charlton into third position in Professional Development League 2 - South, just two points off leaders Crystal Palace with nine games played.
