Charlton’s U18s earned a 1-1 draw in their local derby against Millwall at the Lions’ training ground on Saturday morning.

Just seven minutes into proceedings, the visitors took the lead thanks to Romarno Simpson’s header. After a corner had been delivered from the right-hand side, the defender stayed strong in a crowded box to make a good connection and send the ball into the bottom corner.

The Lions, however, fought back shortly after the break and Millwall striker Noel Leighton finished off a solo run with a firm finish and the two sides played out the rest of the game towards a share of the spoils.
