Look ahead to the Addicks' final away fixture of 2016/17 - a trip to the Proact Stadium to face Chesterfield

TeamNews500
Charlton have doubts over the fitness of Chris Solly, who missed Easter Monday’s 3-0 victory over Gillingham with a knee problem. Lee Novak (hamstring), Lewis Page (hamstring), Harry Lennon (groin), Roger Johnson (knee) and Ahmed Kashi (Achilles) all remain sidelined.

For Chesterfield, striker Ched Evans is out through injury and Rai Simons is a doubt. Dion Donohue is suspended but youngsters Charlie Wakefield and Joe Rowley could both feature.

HeadToHead
Charlton and Chesterfield have come up against each other 17 times in the past, with the Addicks winning on eight occasions. There have also been four draws while the Spireites have come out on top five times.

The last time the two sides met at the Proact Stadium came in the Addicks’ title-winning 2011/12 campaign. Bradley Wright-Phillips bagged a hat-trick and Johnnie Jackson also scored as Charlton romped to a 4-0 victory.

PreMatch
Chesterfield goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann: “We have to get our heads together and react in a positive manner to make sure that we finish the season off with two positive results.

“We have to leave our heart on the pitch next Saturday and we have to play and show some pride and just show everything we can. We have to make the fans want to come back next season.”

Charlton Manager Karl Robinson:
There could be one or two changes to the team. There will be players that have played with our U23s squad that may be involved.

“Aaron Barnes and Anfernee Dijksteel will be in the squad and, of course, so will the likes of Ezri, Karlan Ahearne-Grant and Joe Aribo.

“There will be a sprinkling of our U23s involved – I won’t play them all but some of them will get a chance. The most important thing is still to win the game and that has got to be our mentality.
