Haynes and Kermorgant the big movers as squad numbers are revealed for the coming campaign

Matt Wright reports

Addicks fans waiting to decide which player’s name and number to have on the reverse of their replica shirts can now go ahead following the publication of the club’s 2012/13 squad numbers.

In contrast to last season, when Chris Powell had made 15 signings by the time the list was publicised, there is nothing like such a radical overhaul.

January recruit Danny Haynes has moved to the number nine jersey, however, while Yann Kermorgant moves up to 18 from 36.

Haynes replaces Paul Hayes, who shifts to number 39, while former number 18 Bradley Pritchard switches to the 14 jersey vacated by Haynes and which was worn by Paul Benson at the start of 2011/12.

Summer signings Lawrie Wilson and Jordan Cook receive the 23 and 17 jerseys, respectively, with the latter taking the shirt most recently worn by Jason Euell.

Salim Kerkar, who signed a one-year contract on Wednesday, will wear number 12.

Of the young professionals, Jordan Cousins (31), Callum Harriott (32), Harry Osborne (33), Joe Pigott (35) and Adebayo Azeez (38) retain the numbers they were given last term, although some of these were rarely publicised.
