     	  <description>Charlton's pre-season preparations continued to take shape on Friday after a friendly date with League One side Brighton &amp; Hove Albion was confirmed for July.The clash with the Seagulls, who just missed out on a play-off place this season, will take place at the Withdean Stadium on Saturday, July 26th (3pm).The game will be Micky Adams' first home match in charge of the Seagulls since he recently returned to the club as manager.Therry Racon, if selected for Charlton, will also be returning to the Withdean Stadium. The cultured Addicks midfielder enjoyed a one-month loan spell with Brighton towards the end of the season, impressing in eight first-team starts.</description>

     	  <description>Charlton midfielder and China international captain Zheng Zhi is backing a campaign to help promote football in his homeland and give 16 Beijing-based youngsters the trip of a lifetime to Britain.ClubFootball, Beijing's biggest football network, is teaming up with CHINA NOW, the UK's largest-ever festival of Chinese culture, and the Addicks to promote grassroots football in China and give 16 youngsters a trip to Britain in the run-up to the 2008 Olympic Games.Zheng said: &quot;It is important that kids start enjoying football at a young age and this project gives a great chance for kids in Beijing to learn more about football the way it is played in Britain.&quot;Beijing and London are both Olympic cities and this is a great opportunity to build bridges through sport at all levels.&quot;</description>
