Charlton songs
The Addicks enter the Valley pitch at every home game to the tune of the 'Red, Red Robin' by Billy Cotton.
Learn the words and listen to the music below.

When the red, red robin comes
Bob bob bobbing along, along
There'll be no more sobbing
When he starts throbbing
His old sweet song.
Wake up, wake up, you sleepy head.
Get up, get up, get out of bed.
Cheer up, cheer up, the sun is red.
Live, love, laugh, and be happy.
What if I've been blue?
Now I'm walking through fields of flowers.
Rain may glisten but still I listen
For hours and hours.
I'm just a kid again,
Doing what I did again,
Singing a song,
When the red, red robin comes
Bob bob bobbing along.
- Instrumental -
When the red, red robin comes
Bob bob bobbing along, along
There'll be no more sobbing
When he starts throbbing
His old sweet song.
I'm just a kid again,
Doing what I did again,
Singing a song,
When the red, red robin comes
Bob bob bobbing along.
When the red, red robin,
Comes bob bob bobbing,
When the red, red robin comes
Bob bob bobbing along.
Valley, Floyd Road
Charlton fans' favourite chant is 'Valley, Floyd Road' set to the tune of Paul McCartney's 'Mull of Kintyre'.
The song was released as a single in April 2003 by 3 Blokes From F Block and friends - which included former stars Kevin Lisbie, Claus Jensen, Mathias Svensson and Scott Parker.

Valley, Floyd Road,
The mist rolling in from the Thames,
My desire is always to be found at
Valley, Floyd Road.
Many miles have I travelled,
Many games have I seen,
Following Charlton my favourite team.
Many hours have I spent in the covered end choir,
Singing Valley, Floyd Road,
My only desire.
Valley, Floyd Road,
The mist rolling in from the Thames,
My desire is always to be found at
Valley, Floyd Road.
From Selhurst to West Ham,
Many years did we roam,
Forever dreaming of returning home,
To follow our team every year we aspired,
Singing Valley, Floyd Road,
In the covered end choir.
Valley, Floyd Road,
The mist rolling in from the Thames,
My desire is always to be found at
Valley, Floyd Road.
The fifth of December 1992,
The exile is over, our dreams have come true,
Charlton at home, there's no more I require,
Singing Valley, Floyd Road,
My only desire.
Valley, Floyd Road,
The mist rolling in from the Thames,
My desire is always to be found at
Valley, Floyd Road.
Many miles have I travelled,
Many games have I seen,
Following Charlton my favourite team.
Many hours have I spent in the covered end choir,
Singing Valley, Floyd Road,
My only desire.
Valley, Floyd Road,
The mist rolling in from the Thames,
My desire is always to be found at
Valley, Floyd Road.
- Repeat chorus -
